How Much Sugar Is In That?

Hard to imagine eating 10 sugar cubes, but when you guzzle down a can of soda, that's what you're putting in your body. See just how much sugar you're destroying yourself with ...

I know they have the little "We don't differentiate between different types of sugar" note, but I really wish they would have a blurb about how your body needs healthy sugars, and that the idea is to feed your body what it needs, not all the other crap. If you take the sugar out of soda and replace it with splenda, it is still crap for your body.

I agree with ivymae
And
They shouldn't have put up the fruit section
While fruits have sugar, they are still much better than most other foods, and it is a different type of sugar.
By putting the sugar content in healthy foods up there, people will opt not to eat them and choose something not on the list, and in most cases, worse for them

Oh really? What are these "horrible effects" of Splenda??

Any documentation, except for that one web site paid for by the sugar lobby??

If you listen to the Health Food aficionados, almost EVERYTHING is bad for you, except for what THEY sell, of course.

Thanks for making this point so succinctly. On my blog at www.dentistryfordiabetics.com/blog I talk about the importance of a healthy diet in avoiding developing diseases like diabetes. I also discuss the role dental care plays in maintaining good health.

Typical food police baloney.

Someone else here already said it: EVERYTHING IS BAD FOR YOU

What is the solution?

DON'T DO TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING - MODERATE

If you choose not to moderate, then deal with the consequences like an adult. Take responsibility and stop blaming everyone (and everything) else.

Is this really that hard to understand?

Filling a jar with the amount of sugar you take in each day can be a powerful visual to help decrease your sugar intake.
