English explorer Henry Hudson set foot on an island called Mannahatta 400 years ago. The Manhatta Project has recreated the island as it appeared in 1609, with forests, wetlands, and a vast array of wildlife. I dunno, running from a big monster in a giant forest/swampland in the middle of the night with no givilization around would be pretty scary too.
The majority of earth's surface looks as Manhatten did 400 years ago. Go find yourself a chuck of it and live out your lives if you find it so great. Leave the laptop behind, of course. No sense in clutting up the place with the trappings on modern life.
