Jellybean Guess is Good for $25,000

Jessica Silverman of Harlem won $25,000 for correctly guessing the number of jellybeans in a jar.  This isn't the first time Jessica has done this: 21 years ago as a five year old, she won a stuffed dragon.

Silverman was randomly passing the stand, set up by insurance firm DeWitt Stern at the annual Co-op and Condo Expo, when she was convinced to try her luck.

"I just walked by the booth because I was meeting friends for coffee," she said. "Someone manning the booth told me to take a stab at $25,000 - it was a very good stab."

So how do we know that was the actual number and that she just wasn't chosen b/c it put a pretty face to this contest and for the people who ran it? Just think about it... of course they'd want as much publicity as possible, and hey.. cute girl too!
Yeah.... I smell something fishy... but good for her though.

Isn't it hypocritical to judge a pretty person winning to mean that the company picked her to win because she's pretty?

Nope a pretty person winning is too convenient...

I'm just saying.. I wouldn't put it past a company to give a cute person the win so they could have that face associated w/ them.

I'm not hatin on her though. Actually happy for her.. we could all use some extra cash.
