Make Your Own Virtual Kaleidoscope

I've been entertaining myself with this for way too long this afternoon. You get a bunch of elements - squares of different colors, vertical lines, horizontal lines, diamonds, dots - and then can place them wherever you want and see what kind of pattern you get. I bet you can come up with some cooler than mine, though.

YES!! I had lost this link. I recall spending many hours at work playing with this and "Falling Sand" when I should have been working.

I found it even more odd that a scientific journal named Cell Biology would accept a paper on dinosaur paleontology, given that most dinosaur fossils are just rocky sediments. Surely it would not contain cells or even fossil outlines of cells. Most specialist journals do not even have editors competent to review papers outside their narrow field.
