Cat Evicted from Post Office for Not Paying Taxes

A cat named Sammy was usually seen lounging in the window of the post office in Notasulga, Alabama until someone complained.
"They said 'This is a federal building and he doesn't pay federal taxes so he can't come in'," said postal worker Rochelle Langford.

From the pose he strikes in this photo, Sammy doesn't seem too happy about the eviction. But Sammy's supporters think they have found a way around the banishment. They have rented a post office box in his name! Link -via Arbroath

Damn, someone must have a miserable, boring life to want to piss off other people that much by complaining about a cat in a post office.

How friggin mean must that person be to kick a kitty out. Whomever that person is I trust they will remember this when they are old and need someone to love and care for them, becasue if they treat an innocent cat this way what must they be like to their own. How terribly sad.

Yay to Sammy's supporters by getting him a p.o. box!

Some people are just happy being misearble, and are not happy unless they ,make others miserable.

I cannot imagine what would possess a person to complain about the cat for that reason. (I can see someone getting uppitty if they don't like cats or have allergies, etc, but not paying taxes?!) It's staggers the mind.

Didn't finish before posting: Or do the cat have to share with them...?

I feel sorry for the person who complained. They must be a very unhappy person if they take offense at a harmless animal who brightened so many people's days.
