I don't remember to watch Saturday Night Live very often, but I'm glad I remembered to last weekend because I was completely delighted by this Digital Short of Neil Patrick Harris and the cast jamming out to the Doogie Howser, M.D. theme song. However, I woke up with that song stuck in my head both yesterday morning and this morning. Consider yourself warned.
This was a fantastic SNL short. Possibly the best part of an already solid show (minus the typically unfunny opening skit) with good ol' NPH bringin' in the lion's share of the yuks. Thanks for posting this!
I usually hate watching SNL (the new ones anyway), but I love NPH, so I gave it a shot and it was hilarious! I loved the broadway musical sketch too. hulu.com is a good resource for sketches since they're good quality.
Fore more NPH goodness check out Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog on Hulu
Also, I LOVE Dr. Horrible. I strongly agree that you need to check it out. Just search for it, because it has its own website. :)
Tired character that they need to retire...boop, gone.
Crappy musical guest...boop, gone.
One-note sketch that's going nowhere...boop, gone.
(years ago) Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz in the same sketch...boop, gone.
This 'Doogie Howser' short was a riot.
