Congratulations to Denita TwoDragons, a long-time Neatoramanaut, and hubby, on the arrival of their very cute daughter, Tabitha Charis, a few days ago:
I Am Proud to Announce... my bouncy little squeak festival, Tabitha Charis, was born at 5:22 this morning! She's a hefty 8 lbs. 9 oz. and a leggy 20 1/2 inches long. She came into the world screaming like a banshee and immediately crapped all over the OBGYN's shoes. I'd say she got off to a good start!
Go over to Denita's blog to see the cute pics, and to offer your congratulations, of course: Link - via Neatorama Forum
Enjoy her while you can. They grow up quickly.
Now that I think of it, I have to admit, I'm curious about the contents of newborn crap. In a purely scientific sense. Normally crap is just processed food with all the nutrients extracted, but babies don't eat food in utero. I guess the nourishment received through the umbilical cord could count, but I bet that would result in a considerably different sort of poop than we're used to. Sorry if my curiosity grosses you out.
No, actually that was fascinating. Something I'd never really thought about before (and with no kids of my own, haven't experienced). Thanks for the link, Alex. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.
Thanks for the enthusiastic congrats, guys...believe me, it's a real refreshment for this massively sleep-deprived 'Naut! Tabi sends her thanks as well...if you if you speak Burpese... ;-)
