How can Schindler's List not be on there, it surely deserves to be in the top 3. The ending, where Oskar is about to leave the camp and is given a ring, is in my opinion THE most emotional and tear inducing sequence in the history of movies.

My Girl always got me. also the ending of the movie Tae Guk Gi... i don't think im good at watching people cry over graves... and i just saw the movie Bridge to Teribithia... ouch.. i'm a crybaby... however, Ghost had no impact on me. actually, none of those listed had any effect. maybe i just have a different 'cry trigger'...

i just remembered the time that i went to see the Lion King... there was a little kid sitting behind me. at the right moment he said aloud, "This is when simba's dad dies." that made me laugh and probably drew me out of any emotional connection i had at the moment. or not, since i only saw it the one time and have never really cared to see it again...

Who the heck was asked? Whoever they are SUCK!
E.T. is a great movie, and yes when ET "dies" it's sad, but that should hardly be on the list.
Come on!!! There are alot of other movies that make you weep like a girl...
The Green Mile being one of them. Good god... that movie just about turns me in to a blubbering mess.

That list was weak. Re: People's' comments: Schindler's List? Really? Sad, but nowhere near Dancer in the Dark-sad.

But the movie that turned me into a blubbering, weeping mess was Whale Rider. I can barely think about that movie without welling up. I have to go now....

Dumbo and Dancer in the Dark..that movie..man. I don't remember crying that hard for anything else in my life and I'm almost scared to see it again a decade later.

Lorenzo's Oil turned me into a leaky-faced wreck. And being based on a true story makes it all the harder. I still get misty just remembering it!

I haven't seen all of The Lion King, but I had the misfortune to walk in right at Simba's death scene at a department store once--as I was going through postpartum depression, no less!--and I was a mess for several hours. I don't think I could make it through the rest of the movie without some encouragement and a brisk walk in the park!

i loved grave of the fireflies, and absolutely blubbered through the last half hour. i don't often cry during movies, and maybe i was just depressed at the time, but i cried during sixth sense. something about being terrorized and adults not believing him . . .

Trust a rag like the daily mail to publish a list like that. I wouldn't put much faith in it as it generally caters for the unwashed masses. The likes of Ghost is generally supersceded by the (far superior) British film "Truly Madly Deeply" in the UK.

I can't believe Charlotte's Web didn't make it on there. When I worked at a video store we would put that on, and then halfway through start fretting: "Why did we put this on? It's too sad! Oh god, how are we going to watch this in front of everybody?"

As a manly man I can comfortably say that Grave of the Fireflies really made me cry. I never cried as bad as I did that day. :(
