Bacon Won Hog-Calling Contest

Jolee Bacon, that is. The Northern Idaho woman took first place Saturday at the Nez Perce County Fair's hog-calling contest:

She has raised several champion pigs for 4-H contests. Bacon says she calls pigs every morning and night with her 9-year-old daughter, Jacey.

Bacon won the crown over as she started her hog call with a few loud snorts and a long, drawn-out "sooey."

And thanks to YouTube, we can all hear the winning performance:

Her name is Jolee Bacon. Fitting don'tcha think. Okay okay a whistle calls a dog, horse etc. A heeere kitty kitty gets a cat(sometimes.) What is it with pigs and sooey? Do pigs have a vocabulary of their on? Are they all actually Irish?
WIKIPEDIA says: Sooey (Irish: Súmhaí) is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. The village is situated near Riverstown, on the R284 road which runs between Sligo and Leitrim village in County Leitrim.

It is the burial place of Provisional Irish Republican Army volunteer, Kevin Coen.

What ever it really means doesn't matter so much. All I know is I want to marry this woman! She could sooey me any ol time.

Jolee Bacon will you marry me?
