National Geographic News has a great video clip of robots that have eerily human facial expressions:

The research they've done into how the human body actually moves ... they've got servo-motors attached to where tendons would be in the human skulls ... they've got the muscles stimulated so they're pulling and moving to get beautifully articulated faces ...
