Levi's "Onion Peel" ad shows real beauty isn't about makeup or fancy clothes

All you need is pair of Levi's. As long as you're anorexically thin, I guess. Via AdFreak.

So, real beauty doesn't require all the clothes, make-up and trappings of high fashion? Then why do we all still do it? Besides, how realistic is this ad? Even by Levi's standards we aren't beautiful unless we're tall ultra-thin teenage models (in the right jeans of course).

We're all beautiful in our individuality. Forget the status quo and be who you are folks. There's nothing lovely about materialism, conformity or superficiality.

Okay, first of all, skinny people aren't always anorexic. I'm so tired of that assumption. In the modeling industry anorexia is likely more of a problem, but there ARE people who are just naturally skinny. I can't speak for this girl, but please don't make assumptions about everybody else.

Too true Neatoramawontsendmeapassword. I know quite a few people who eat a TON and remain rail thin. Many of them are extremely self concious about it too.

Interesting ad though.
