Ads Using Trees

Nope, that's not a guy peeing on a tree. It's a cardboard ad to show the lack of public restrooms in New York City.

Part of a neat compilation of "Ads using Trees" over at CrookedBrains: Link

DIdn't New Yrok City try to have more public toilets, but weren't allowed to because they couldn't make them all hanicapable? HAHAHAHA! Suck it, liebral elitest Noreasterners!

Where I'm from, no one looks twice if you stop in a gas station or a fast food joint just to use the restroom. I can't imagine being in NY and not having a public restroom within spitting distance.

Doesn't the paint the signs damage the trees? I donated a bequest I got to a group whose goal was to preserve nature. When, several years later, I actually got to go the the building where the charity worked, I noticed that the entire place had hard wood flooring, and taxidermied animals were everywhere. Made me feel like I might have donated to the wrong organization.
