Ceiling Cat Rescued

New homeowner Wayne Berkowitz heard cat noises from inside the drywall of his house. Workers spent days tearing out the new walls and ceiling to get the frightened cat out. Link -via Metafilter

This happened to me last summer...
We heard yowling in the walls at work and after a few hours with the landlord doing nothing about it I ripped a hole in The Wall and pulled out Pink and Floyd.

Now we have 5 cats.

I still don't understand how a cat could end up in the drywall. Did the drywallers back it into a corner? You'd think a cat would shy away from building sites altogether, what with all the noise and dust and smelly men.

Maybe it was a really dumb cat.
