Alex

Ouch! That's 29-year-old yoga instructor Lakshmikanth of Bangalore, India, lifting a 6.5 kg (14.3 lb.) statue of Hindu elephant god Ganesha using his eye socket! Link

yeh but these yogis have a history that goes back before this was ever considered overated as a gimmick. Mind over matter, or years of study that concentrates on the living flesh and the powers that be inward/outward/and beyond. withstanding what is thought of a challange outside the normal aspects of day to ay life...then again It all may be a variation of the early circus in order to gather coins along the path that help continue the journey. The other thing I think about with these sort of things...is where along the way in this guy's study did he realize that it was his eyelid(s?) as aposed to any other body part, that would serve him best?

1) the party poppers are clearly visible, so it's not going to be a surprise.

2) The pictured Party poppers are not "pressurized confetti containers", they are powered by a very small amount of Armstrong's Mix (a highly sensitive explosive) in the neck of the bottle-like shape.

I knew a guy who was an animator before digital and he punched a lot of pin-registered holes in a lot of sheets of animation paper in the course of his work which means he always had a ton of 'confetti' around which he used to hide in ingeniously mischievous places. One of the better ones was on a rainy day he'd fill your push-button, spring-loaded, automatic opening umbrella with it.
