Ron Mueck's Exhibition at The Modern

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is having a Ron Mueck exhibition - We've posted about Ron's amazingly lifelike sculptures (okay - gigantic lifelike hollow sculptures made from fiberglass and silicon) before, but The Modern blog pointed us to a Flickr set of the artwork being installed!

urg...for someone like me thats not too fond of kids...this is one scary sculpture. Imagine the booming *WAAAAAAHHH* this baby could produce. (not to mention the HUGE load in its diaper. yuck.)

Simply Amazing. And....uh, a little creepy. His work is almost TOO realistic, and definitely not something I'd display in my home, even assuming I could afford it in the first place, LOL...

I actually went to the exhibit in Fort Worth (my home town). It was incredible. There's also a short documentary showing Mueck create one of his sculptures. That's a must see if you get to see the exhibit. Highly recommended.

I was having a hard time finding Ron Mueck's schedule of gallery and museum showings. So my friend and I just made a mini website for this info. Any leads or links others might have are appreciated. Thanks.
