Driving from Argentina to Alaska to Asia.

Herman and Candelaria Zapp drove from Argentina to Alaska in their 1928 Graham Paige Model 610 touring car. The car’s top speed is about 35 mph. The trip took almost three years, covered 43,717 miles, and produced a son. Link -via Grow-A-Brain

Herman and Cande told the story of their amazing dream last night(friday 27 feb 2009) at the Austin Car Club meeting in Sydney. What a dream,I was really entertained and amazed,Cande is due to give birth to their fourth child in about a week,I had to leave the meeting in a hurry, but I am looking forward to meeting them again soon, keep watching for updates on their progress.

This family in their car came to stay at Cable Beach Caravan Park in Broome when I was there a few days ago. I was enchanted! I understand they started out 8 years ago, just the two of them, and now have 4 children as well. I don't know about the dream, but I admire them for following it.
Best wishes to them.
