Olympic Posters through History.

Check out this collection of Olympic posters, from 1896 through 2012! Bonus: click on each poster to go to the Wikipedia entry on the games of that year. Link -via Dump Trumpet

most of them are really nice looking, especially the 1930's to 1950's era. Then you see London 2012 and want to cry. Why o why did they think that abomination looked good??

I thought our 2012 logo was bad (and it is), but seeing some of the older ones I am re-assured that Olympic posters throughout history have been equally terrible. Tokyo and Melbourne rank highly, but the winner has to be Mexico 1968 - some kind of hypnotic mind-warping propaganda tool to lure you into the stadium!
