We did beat it the answer at the end "May I please get the glass" if I remember correctly...
I'm on a mac and didn't have any trouble with the door. You have to grab the handle at the top of the vault and rotate to enter then numbers.
Now I must find the sentence. Only clue I have is "Do not forget to ask nicely?"
