Growing (Micro) Leather Jacket in a Lab Vat.

Artists Oron Catts and Ionat Zurr "grew" a mini leather coat in a test tube from living skin cells!

The installation, called "Victimless Leather" because no animal needs to be sacrificed for the micro-clothes, is at the Israeli Center for Digital Art in Holon, Israel.

Wow! This is really great news. Actually I am also against the sacrifice of animal to manufacture a product that we need on daily basis, such as a leather jacket. It is really a great discovery and achievement. Maybe in future we will see more discoveries to produce the product such like this of leather jacket without the sacrifice of animals.
