This is the comedy group "Skithouse" from Australia. Fantastic show, sadly no longer being produced. But if you see the reruns on TV make a night out of it and take it in...

The description is very misleading. This isn't a real interview by a BBC reporter in Iraq. It's a skit done by a comedy group.

I was slightly worried about waatching this one, as I have no love of the war or the war news and I am sick and tired of everybody fighting about it. Get'r'done or get out...but PICK one! This however was great and made me laugh!!

I'm guessing a lot of this gunshot victims will be gangbangers who probably are hopped up on any variety of illegal drugs when they're brought in rather than healthy people who aren't on drugs. That's going to skew the results, but the article didn't mention how they're controlling for that. What if they end up with results that show "this only works if you're really high on meth" or something?
