The very first home made over on the very first home-makeover show was in my neighborhood. Had a few drinks with the owners. In many cases, no work was done. For example, Light fixtures and plumbing were attached to walls and not connected to anything.They were given $50,000 and told to keep quiet. How did I find out about this? After the $50K was delivered, what was the point to keeping quiet?
