Cellborg: Resistance is Futile.

Ravi Saraf of the University of Nebraska has created the world's first fusion of microbe and machinery.

This "cellborg" can detect humidity, and is at least four times more sensitive than existing electronic humidity sensor, and will work even when its biological parts are dead! Link
