Yoda, The Oldest Mouse in the World.

Yoda (the small brown mouse on the left) was the world's oldest mouse. It lived for 4 years and 12 days, or double the average lifespan of a regular mouse.

Yoda's secret? No, not calorie-restricted diet. Instead, Yoda was the result of selective breeding - this strain of mice stay smaller and age more slowly. Link

Another strain of mice, bred to have a more active anti aging protein called Klotho, live between 19% to 31% longer than normal mice.
