Ever want to make your own sweet Cyclops visor? Well then head over to Lounge Geeks where you can learn how to make your own for less than $30. Now that’s a value for some sweet style.

After all the fan movements to save the show, some artists are celebrating with Community-inspired fan art. While there are a bunch out there, this X-Men one might just be the best I’ve seen so far.

Cyclops won’t have to wait at the door. He and his friends are the hippest mutants at this club. View more images of their adventures by Kevin Wada and Max Wittert at the links.

It’s stunning that Marvel Comics would throw its weight behind the Mutant Registration Act. But in order to keep more money, the company’s attorneys argue that mutants, such as the X-Men, aren’t human:
In the non-fictional world, our world, Marvel is taking the position that mutants are not humans at all. But this isn’t an ideological or a moral stance. Instead, it is a financial one. Toys manufactured in other countries and imported into the US are subject to taxes, but those taxes are lower if the toys represent non-human characters. That has led to Marvel lawyers arguing that an action figure representing, say, Wolverine, is actually “representing animals or other non-human creatures (for example, robots and monsters).”

Googly eyes are supposed to be cute, but adding them to X-Men comic book covers makes them scary. Do you want to see more? You’re in luck! There’s a Tumblr blog devoted entirely to this motif.

Daniel Valdez of Smeeon modded this motorized wheelchair to look like a steampunk version of X-Men's Professor Xavier's wheelchair. Fantastic!

Who knew that Super Mario and the X Men could go together so well? Apparently artist Casey Edwards did because she’s the one who came up with these clever mash ups.
All mutants go through that awkward stage when their mutations begin to affect their bodies. But it’s okay! Don’t feel bad about it and don’t feel like you can’t ask questions about what you’re experiencing. Professor Xavier is here to help you with this handy guide. Click on the link to read the rest.

Somewhere between video game concept art and stylish fashion design plates, these X-Men redesigns give our favorite mutant super team a futuristic edge that demands respect. The X-Men series gave us a whole slew of mutant “super heroes,” many of whom had “powers” that were honestly useless in the fight for truth and justice. That usually meant these characters had a limited run, because how many plots can you write around a hero whose talent is limited to extra skin or translating languages? Take, for example, Kylun, whose mutations meant he could imitate any sound and looked like a lion.
He became increasingly feral as time went on just for something to do, despite that being the exact opposite of what happens when you hang around with people all the time. His one glorious moment came when a squad of “Warpies” assumed his sound-mimicking powers were no threat because they’d never seen Police Academy. His character was such an unemployable failure even in the X-community that his “happy ending” was finding and moving back in with his parents.

This would, in all actuality, be a great movie. Or at least a short film. The pairing of Wolverine and Animal is good, but Beaker is automatically funny in all things.

Etsy seller yumeleona23 made this dandy cross stitch featuring Gambit from the X-Men. Since Gambit uses playing cards as weapons, it seemed best to surround him with a frame of them.

Well, to be fair, comics characters and Star Trek have collided in the past, often with bizarre results. I’m not quite sure why they haven’t quite clicked in the past, other than that great catchall that explains away most of the “seemed-like-a-good-idea-at-the-time’ pop culture atrocities:it was the ’90s.
Comics and Star Trek should be two great tastes that taste great together, and in that spirit the folks at Comics Should Be Good issued a challenge to their artistically inclined readers: draw us some comics/Star Trek team-ups! The results, this time around, were fairly awesome.
io9 has a gallery of 1988-2000 arcade games like Superman, Spiderman, and more. The only one I remember is the 1992 X-Men 6-player monster machine.
If you were sentient during the early 1990s, chances are you (and five of your closest friends) wasted an afternoon at this game’s massive cabinet. Not only was Konami’s X-Men a hoot to play, it also provided a hilariously idiosyncratic take on Marvel’s favorite mutants. For example, Wolverine spoke with an Australian accent, Colossus had a spark attack, Juggernaut carried a bazooka, and Magneto’s broken English is the stuff of legends (see: “WELCOME TO DIE,” “I AM MAGNETO MASTER OF MAGNET,” “KILL YOU YOU ARE DEAD,” “COME X-CHICKEN”).

Our pal Dan Piraro is auctioning the original Bizarro Sunday Comic strip above on eBay. It’s for a good cause (National Cartoonists Society Foundation – who knew there’s such a thing?) and it’s currently going for way below market price.

If I had a Christmas tree, this would be one of the ornaments on it. It just makes sense (Spidey Sense?) that the Webslinger would be hanging out there. Get a load of this and other superhero tree-trimmers at Walyou.

Can’t wait for the new X-Men movie? Neither could Ryan Higa – but instead of fretting about waiting, he did something about it: he "sweded" his own X-Men Origins: Wolverine trailer. The result? Hilarious! (BTW, Ryan is the creator of the YouTube channel Nigahiga, the second most subscribed channel of all time on the site)

After a thorough analysis of the emotional state of Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, AlwaysWatching blog came to this irrefutable conclusion: Hugh Jackman has many nuanced facial expressions. Take a look: Link
