This innocent looking robotic pony has a dark secret-he breathes fire like a dragon! Apparently, he wants to show the world that he’s worthy of serving as a mount for one of the Four Horsemen, once he’s full-grown of course. He was created for Maker Faire Detroit 2011, and is cleverly controlled via Wii-mote. The battlefields of the future just became a much stranger place.
What kind of entertainment would you expect at Maker Faire? Arc Attack performing the Dr. Who theme on Tesla coils as Adam Savage of Mythbusters dances in a Faraday cage. Of course. -via Buzzfeed

Charlie Bucket, created this beautiful sculpture where the intricate weaving with the use of colored fluids and what I believe to be bubbles/air pockets produce a hypnotic effect. Apparently, this is just a small prototype to what I hope is going to be a giant monster of an art piece that he’ll have at the 2009 Maker Faire in San Mateo.
