Beavis and Butthead are back, and their fans have come up with many creative ways to show their love. This quality gallery shows various fan art interpretations of the duo that don’t suck. Insert snarky comment here.

What could be better than watching and re-watching Daniel Day Lewis’ mustache-fest-of-a-movie There Will Be Blood? Why, playing it in this re-imagined 8-bit game.
Here’s a clever fan-made clip by Tomfoolery Pictures about what it would be like to play Super There Will Be Blood on the SNES: Link

Being a fan of the classic Star Trek series, it’s only logical that Ramsey Sibaja drew an homage of Spock re-imagined as various iconic characters:
This is a homage and at the same time a parody of sorts for all us Spock aficionados. A what if, concept of Spock in different roles.
Spock as Che Guevara, Spock as a Drag Queen. All the images are head-shots of Spock in various versions from music to pop culture. The same image repeated but with variations done to it to reflect Spock portrayed in various incarnations.

Nineteen-year-old sculpture student Zachariah Perry Cruse built this awesome Iron Man-themed Xbox, complete with glowing Arc Reactor:
The completely customized Falcon HDMI Xbox 360 Console took months to complete. The Iron Man Xbox 360 features bright white LEDs, a ring of light around the outside of the arc reactor, a matching red controller and the Stark Industries label on the hard drive. This one-of-a-kind Iron Man Xbox 360 with built-in arc reactor has now reached eBay and the current bid sits at US $2,050.

I admit it: Time Crisis is one of my all-time favorite (read: quarter-munchin’) arcade games.
So I’m glad to see that YouTube star Freddiew preserved the shoot’em up game’s over-the-top violence in this fan-made YouTube clip: Link
This one is fantastic: a fan-made trailer for The Avengers by YouTube user Ivan Guerrero, cobbled together from 50 old films and TV shows.
He’s even managed to slip in Stan Lee in the trailer – now that’s mad editing skillz! Technabob has the clip: Link
Neatoramanaut Nikki of Pig Corner is both an avid gamer and a talented crafster. She combined the two by making fantastic video game-inspired sackboys.
Her website is full of nifty crocheted characters, but I particularly like this one above of Kratos from God of War. Best of all, her website has tutorials if you want to make your own: Link – Thanks Nikki!
Love Street Fighter? Then you’ve got to watch this AMAZING fan film about the video game. Joey Ansah and Owen Trevor directed this short clip called Street Fighter: Legacy.
Hollywood is finally getting some serious competition from the fans. Geeks Are Sexy has the clip: Link

Team StarKid, a troupe of University of Michigan students and grads came up with a sequel to the musical parody, A Very Potter Musical, that went viral last year.
Behold, A Very Potter Sequel:
The StarKid twenty-somethings, most of whom met at U-M’s musical theater department, became an Internet sensation last year when they uploaded their hilarious original production, ‘A Very Potter Musical’, to YouTube for their friends and family to see. What they thought would reach maybe a few hundred people in their extended social networks has been literally uploaded millions of times by Harry Potter fans around the world.
Written by U-M friends and fellow ‘Harry Potter’ fans Brian Holden, Matt Lang and Nick Lang (script) and Darren Criss and A.J. Homes (score), the musical, which became one of the viral videos of 2009, catapulted the young performers, especially the ones who played Harry (Darren Criss), Ron (Joey Richter), Hermione (Bonnie Gruesen) and Draco (Lauren Lopez, yes, Draco is played by a girl), into a level of fandom stardom that’s only slightly lower than the actual film actors. Considering the fan response, it’s no surprise that Team StarKid regrouped and developed ‘A Very Potter Sequel.’

Neatoramanaut Dennis wrote to us about the set of furniture that his girlfriend (who is studying mechanical engineering in Germany and is apparently very, very handy) made for their apartment:
[Everything was] created by my girlfriend Judith for her apartment. We both love video games, especially Super Mario. She’s currently studying Mechanical Engineering in Germany and has also built an incredible lightsaber for my birthday. She’s a hardcore Super Mario Land (Game Boy) gamer and we both are fans of the whole franchise.
I designed the shelf for our growing collection of videogames (almost 200 Wii games) and I thought the boxes would be perfect with the backround [of hills] and a cloud (all made of wood). Beside the shelf was a small table for the phone and the Internet and I thought it would be cool if we could have a warp pipe too. So she’s created the warp pipe based on a garbage can [that] big enough to hide all the cables.
We’ve bought the figures and the mushroom to make it perfect. I designed the Game Boy clock [to include] the Super Mario Land scene with objects as numbers, because it is her favorite game … It works very well with the wall color and it’s not too colorful …
Currently she’s working on a small Koopa shell (the same size as the mushroom) for the shelf. So I’m just the guy with the ideas and she’s my Super Judith! ;o)

One day, Neatoramanaut Cory Calhoun and friends had an idea so brilliant they just had to do it: remake the intro to the old TV sitcom Perfects Strangers shot by shot, in Seattle (instead of Chicago – get out of the city!). Hit play or go to Link [YouTube]
What? You don’t believe it’s shot by shot? Don’t be ridiculous! Here’s the side-by-side comparison. Thanks Cory!
North Korea may have gone nuclear, but that didn’t stop this uniformed South Korean officer from doing what’s truly important: dancing to the pop hit "Nobody" by The Wonder Girls.
Stay with it, it gets better and better. And soon enough, you won’t be able to get the tunes out of your head.

Can’t wait for the new X-Men movie? Neither could Ryan Higa – but instead of fretting about waiting, he did something about it: he "sweded" his own X-Men Origins: Wolverine trailer. The result? Hilarious! (BTW, Ryan is the creator of the YouTube channel Nigahiga, the second most subscribed channel of all time on the site)

Oh, how I love Flight of the Conchords. The crazy genius New Zealand duo are at it again … and this time, you’re all invited.
All you have to do is learn the lyrics of "Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros" and video yourself lip-synching the song. The best video clips will be edited together to make a "Fansterpiece" that will air on their show on HBO.
