Girl with Cleft Lip Sees Herself for the First Time after Surgery

Operation Smile is an organization that offers cleft palate and lip cosmetic surgery to children around the world. Here’s a video of one successful surgery on a little girl in Brazil. A day after the procedure, she looks at herself and is amazed at the results.

    Wow, did that make my day. To see that little girl hiding behind her stuffed animal one day, then the next looking at her face knowing that she doesn’t have to hide anymore. That just gives you a warm feeling all over.

    Wow, this was beautiful and made me cry.
    I have a facial deformity so looking at her happy face after just left me speechless.
