Star Trek Book of Opposites

Are you tired of all those boring, pedestrian, and antiquated board books for children that you are forced to read over and over again?  Of course you are! That’s why creative authors like David Borgenicht are coming up with innovative board books that will keep you, the parent, from going insane.

Behold the Star Trek Book of Opposites from Quirk Books.

Yes, what you are seeing is correct. This is a board book for toddlers filled with hilarious pictures of Star Trek’s heroes and aliens.

The book uses classic 1960s-era TV show stills to take you on a voyage into education.

The collection of images here is just a small selection of the wonderful opposites pairing used throughout the book.  The book is actually comprised of two dozen images that also teach concepts like: appear and disappear, furry and scaly, big and little, one and many, and so on and so forth.

Can you think of a more fantastically goofy way to encourage your child to explore new words and convey the concept of opposites? I think not!
