Okay, I admit it, all my knowledge of high culture comes from Bugs Bunny cartoons. Some of yours probably does, too. Bugs has been around so long it isn’t easy to find out where he really started, and his influence on generations of fans is phenomenal.

That is the whole thing in a nutshell, I think. That time when you are insulted by someone, and you kind of retreat, saying: "Ha ha , well, I guess I'll be going now." is when you are being Mickey Mouse.

Twenty minutes later, you think: "'Yeah? Well Up Yours!' THAT's what I should have said!"
That is Bugs Bunny. The guy we wish we were brave enough and snappy enough to be.
