1950s Magazine Quiz Gauges Whether Women Should Choose Career or Domesticity

An early-1950s women's magazine called The Girl Friend (And the Boy Friend) included this quiz, which questioned readers regarding their preferences and lifestyle in order to determine for them once and for all whether they should settle down as a wife or choose to devote time to a career. The more times respondents answered in the negative, the more likely it was that marriage should be their next step.
