Say Hello To My Faceless Friend: Selfie Arm

Feeling lost? Alone? Well, no need for the world (ie. your Facebook friends) to know. This handy fiberglass selfie stick, called the Selfie Arm, will give the appearance that you are holding (shaking?) hands with a mysterious friend. If you're lucky, no one will put their finger on why you never show your new friend's face.

The Selfie Arm is a collaborative project by Aric Snee and Justin Crowe:

The sarcastic solution to a quintessential problem — nobody wants to look alone while they mindlessly snap pictures of themselves — the product conveniently provides you a welcoming arm.

Who do these people think they're fooling? Why is tricking someone who doesn't know you well enough to know you aren't single important? And who is not concerned about people seeing you carrying around an arm? Or holding hands with one, in public? I think the model in this article looks like a fool.
