How to Drink a Rainbow

In this experiment, you can literally "taste the rainbow," especially if you use Skittles. What you do is make colored water of different densities by dissolving Skittles. A microwave helps. Then you carefully layer the different colors of water, with the most sugary solution on the bottom. If I were to try this, I'd use sugar water with some Kool-Aid powder instead of Skittles.
