Space Invader Under The Sea

Remember those really cool statues placed under the sea by artist Jason DeCaires Taylor that we posted a while back?

Well, they appear to have been visited by an otherworldly force of pixel art known as Space Invader!

The crafty tile artist has added his signature to the menagerie of humanoid statues, with Jason's permission of course, and that little bit of tile really spruces up the place, don't you think?!

It makes sense to me; our modern industrial society is out to get us, we have created a world that stresses us out, that harangues and harasses us, that invades our every concious moment until we go insane.

We can't tell where it ends and we beings, it's to the point that if we try to objectify it and see it for what it is, people think we're crazy.

A quote from the director...

"The film is sort of an observation of mine on how a lot of people function in society. The creatures in Terminus don't really exist. They're in people's heads, but the people try and function like nothing's wrong. They're sort of metaphors for living with anxiety or unresolved issues and trying to ignore it rather than deal with it."
