"Rat Tail" Flintlock Pistol

This is a single-shot, muzzle-loading flintlock pistol. Reloading it takes a long time, but the user may not have much time. That's why the makers of this late Eighteenth/early Ninteenth Century Ottoman Albanian pistol built a club into the handle. Fire your shot, reverse the gun, then start swinging.

So, hitting someone with the super lightweight slim-line wooden handle was going to do a better job than smacking someone with the end with an *iron* pipe on it?
