One reason we like artistic redesigns of movie posters is that the real posters are so much alike. In fact, there are really only 13 Hollywood movie posters that are used over and over with the names and faces changed.

They also forget the "almost completely black with one image dead-center" movie poster, which is almost exclusively used for horror/sci-fi movies that want you to think they're the next 'Aliens.'

The funny thing is if you look at a lot of the examples they're the foreign release posters for the movies. When you look up the American poster they don't really fit the bill.
