Marquese Scott moves in a way that looks inhuman. How does he do it? If you’re too busy to watch the whole video, skip ahead to the 4 minute mark.

That, and the dubstep version of Pumped Up Kicks…the best.

Ya, super cool. I wonder if it was a conscious decision of his to wear clothes that are complimentary (on the color wheel) to the background. Not belittling his talent, but it sure supports the illusion of him being animated.

No, for now, there are no animator’s creations as thoroughly entertaining and amazing as this dancer, because he is human.

It’s been around for years (and years) in Japan.

    Called “animation” dancing or “popping”.

There’s way better examples, but I can’t remember the girls name to find them. She went on to be somewhat famous in Japan and took that style of “dance” to the extreme.

    Liquid dancing subgenre, Vonskippy.
A good example is David Elsewhere.

    “How does he do it?”

He is great, but popping has been around since the early 80s, probably 10 – 15 years before he was born. From the comments above, this is also common knowledge.

I have to agree with some of the other posters. He’s certainly good at it — better at it than I could ever be — but isn’t this style getting a bit old at this point? I’ve seen literally dozens who are as good or better, it’s getting kinda dull by now.

I believe it’s some kind of dance.

    I don’t think he is 14 years old…

@RonMoses: It never gets old for me! I find it totally mesmerizing and have nothing but RESPECT for these artists. Art finds a new expression in this kind of liquid dance and it’s awesome, as is the music.

(Yanno, I might just seriously consider having diminished hearing just to feel that bass tone go through me.) (Okay, maybe not.) (But it’s still awesome.)
