Louie The Pig That Thinks He’s a Dog

By The Nag in Animals & Pets on Feb 3, 2011 at 6:27 pm

Louie is a nine month old pot-bellied crossbreed who can negotiate the toughest dog agility courses. Trained by his owner, Sue Williams, he trots, leaps and weaves around obstacles – as long as he gets a tasty ginger biscuit as a reward. He shows such skill that Ms Williams hopes he will compete in the prestigious Crufts dog show one day. Currently he is a hit at agricultural dog shows around the country.

Now, I’m no authority on pigs, but Louie looks like a “she”, not a “he.”

Hrmm, wonder since he’s a crossbreed if he’ll get the belly. If so, he may not be able to do the dog courses much longer.

I wonder if he/she follows his handler’s directions or makes up his own course.

Pigs are very smart, in fact they are smarter than dogs… they are sweet and loving and clean animals. Thank you neatorama for posting a good story on pigs for once. Pigs are friends not products!

They are very smart! I’m not surprised that this piggy enjoys racing around the agility course. But I’m sure it’s quite a sight!! Hehe.

@Dragonflye: Men have nipples. I have two. My male dog has four. Why would it be different with pigs?
