    Sorry kiddies; the”Star” wouldn’t mass enough to do that
    kind of damage. Nor would it break apart in such a tidy
    mass- it would fracture into uneven lumps according to it’s construction. And, the majority would move away from the planet- only a narrow sliver of material would be in the right arc ti impact the planet.
