Wall Tentacle

By John Farrier in Art on Aug 27, 2010 at 8:54 am

Etsy seller ArtAkimbo created a sculpture that looks like a tentacle entering the room through a porthole. It’s made from wood, styrofoam, newsprint, and sawdust. At the link, you can see pictures of what it would look like in a well-furnished office or bedroom.

How much to purchase? How big is it? Any plans to mold it and sell copies? I’d buy one if so….

They should make these out of resin or somesuch and sell them as coathooks.

Wow, so cool looking, but $950? Out of my league. He should make small rigid rubber ones as wall hooks and sell them in packs of 8!

The perfect birthday gift for a boy! Ot the beach house! I know my son would love it, he’s only 14 but I could see him taking it with him to college. (I would want to keep it and put it in the family room.)
