By Alex in Art, Book & Literature on Jul 11, 2010 at 12:36 am

Love typography? Want to teach your kids how to avoid the typographical faux pas of using Comic Sans?

Norwegian design house Studio 3 has created just the book: behold, the Hyperactivitypography book, a clever kid’s activity book for typography lovers.

This might be a tad off topic but that never stopped me before. I have no idea where I got it from but I have always loved quality printing. I found this short documentary a few years ago. I hope you can get as much joy from it as I have. The beauty of this dying art almost brings tears to my eyes.

(thanks Alex for letting me talk about one of my favorite subjects)

I want some of these. I wonder what the shipping to the Philippines costs.

They talk about design errors when it comes to fonts, but their website is so badly designed that it’s almost impossible to get past page 3.

Alex – NICE! What a joy to watch that. Craftsmanship
at it’s best. Maybe there’s hope yet.

How many people own a Linotype? What a marvel of engineering it is. The binding by itself showed even more
the love of their art the people had.

    Bless you Alex!

    (Johannes Gensfleisch must be smiling)
