Switch is a short film that Tyson Hesse made for his graduating thesis at the Savannah College of Art and Design. It’s about a young man who falls into a dark room that is empty except for one light switch. Whenever he toggles it, very appealing or very dangerous things appear.

Too bad he misspelled Ipanema in the credits…

The animation is great, but it’s too bad the story is pretty boring.

Loved the simplicity of the story but a bit disappointed he went with such conventional art design. Still, I really liked this one.

It flashed ‘fart’ at the end. Accident? I think not.

Conventional and sophomoric. Disappointing to see it posted here.

This guy makes a webcomic called Boxer Hockey. It’s a real entertaining one, just doesn’t update much. He’s a great artist, too. I recommend it.

Yeah, how can you spell Ipanema wrong when you’re using the music?

It wasn’t exactly a groundbreaking cartoon, expecially if this is the guy’s “thesis”. Still, it’s better than playing a mandolin and riding a unicycle.

LOL, reminds me of the old PC game Day of the Tentacle.
