When Star Wars Attacks

Check out this excellent quick flick put together by Lamb Productions.

My friends and I were bored one day during Christmas Break and decided to make a quick movie. We shot this in 30 minutes and only used 8 minutes of tape. I then proceeded to spend 3 and a half weeks putting in the visuals for the film. Special thanks to the Action Essentials 2 kit from Videocopilot.net, and Jason Lee for his Enterprise model.

What is it, Star Wars vs Star Trek week?

Funny idea. Lousy ending. Maybe if they have been beamed back down, victims of alien probing – too weird?

    Good effort, though.

    Cute.
But Star Wars is better than Star Treck ;)

Good effort…good try !!!!! it should’ve been the way around Star wars kicking Star trek. Maybe by having one of the guys dead it wuold’ve been more interesting. :)

I can’t help but comment on the inaccuracies though – the Enterprise’s deflector dish wasn’t a weapon. But then again, I watched sans audio, so maybe there was some sort of excuse? Probably not.

@Screwdelicacy: The title sequence at the beginning of SW didn’t actually exist either. I figure at that point, one would just throw expectations out the door, but I could be wrong. ;)

That was pretty good. Great effects and they conveyed the sense of the force (no pun intended) of the impacts really well.

As I watched I was thinking, “Whoa there, the deflector dish doesn’t shoot beam weapons. I’m gonna have to comment on that.” Then I saw that someone bet me to it… Good job Neatorama-nauts keep it up.
