Zebrie Sanders: Statue Player
I am a little under the weather today, and maybe the paper airplane thing was fake. But if this is fake, at least it also fooled The Huffington Post. The obvious question is, What is he thinking?

Short answer: The offensive line thought they should have gotten an offsides or encroachment call on the d-line.
Church, you bring up a valid point, but that has got to be the silliest thing I’ve ever seen in College ball.
I’m pretty sure this is from a video game replay. you don’t think it looks kinda funny, and especially the angle behind the qb when he takes off running. definitely a replay from madden or a demo or something.
sigghhhhhh….. football just ain’t the same anymore at my alma mater
I wish videogames looked that natural…
Maybe the guy knew that the only way he’d ever be featured on ESPN is if he did something drastic. And if that’s the case, well then it worked.
@Yonk
Yeah… definitely not a video game. The angle you mention is the result of the cameras that are strung up on wires behind the line. You can actually see it right near the ‘FSU’ score graphic at the top of the screen at around 0:14 in the video. These sorts of cameras are very common nowadays on the football field.
I watched this game live, that is real footage. He didn’t move because he thought there was encroachment.
Normally, the whole line actually does this. They did it several times against Florida last weekend.
I am from Tallahassee, and this is part of their discipline. When there’s an offsides called, the whole line stays in position, for discipline. Guess this guy stayed a little too long. And yes, they did it alot in the Florida game.
Well, the obvious thing to do would be point out that college sports players generally aren’t chosen for brains, but I’ll be kind and say maybe he panicked.
This isnt fake. It’s real and been replayed over and over on ESPN and NFL Network.
I too wish Video games looked that real.
