I called rue21 the other day and asked them, “Excuse me, which aisle do you keep your eggs in?” without missing a beat, the guy said “aisle 24, ma’am. May I direct you to the bacon aisle, also?” IMMD.
I see a future mashup of IMMD and FML. For instance, Kevin Spacey’s character in American Beauty:

Ehhhh, to be honest I’m kinda annoyed by all the FML spin offs. MyLifeIsAverage and MyLifeIsGood are ok though.
I remember when people had to submit precious little anecdotes like these to Reader’s Digest. That monopoly is now over.
Ha ha! That’s awesome. GMH (Gives me hope) is good for a little positivity as opposed to FML. But some parts are tearjerkers.
