11 Incredible Homes From Around the World for Under $50K

By Queuebot in Home & Garden on Oct 22, 2009 at 12:05 pm

The worldwide recession has hit a lot of people hard, but it’s not all doom and gloom. Far from it actually, as is the case with property. As the price of real estate has fallen, there are plenty of bargains to be had all around the world! The villa pictured is in Halcyon Hills, Greece.

No doubt there will be a few reading ready to point out the error in the title. Surely, it’s a mistake? Homes for less than 50K? No way! But yet, it’s true. Since the global financial debacle of last year, it’s shocking how many homes are available for sale for under US$50,000, especially in the US where the housing market was hit hardest.

I have one for sale with three bedrooms and two bathrooms for quite a bit less than 50K, but it's in southeast Kentucky.

It'd be nice if she had included the square footage (meterage?) with these. They all seem like great buys (excluding the motor home, natch).

Do the time shares really count?

I vote that timeshares do NOT count, merinda.

That carpet in #2 would have to go.

Particularly timeshares for ski houses where you don't even get a week in the winter (The one in Jackson). Spring skiing is nice, but that still does not sound like a good deal.

I am very surprised to see timeshares on this list... In my opinion, they don't count!!!

I agree with everyone, I don't think the timeshares should've been included in that list.
The other homes did look nice though. Wish there were some good cheap ones here that weren't right smack dab in the middle of the ghetto.

How much do you think the building in this post called Futuro House is worth? Could I get that under 50k?
