If you and your four-legged best friend are looking for a new city to move to, consider one of the top five most dog-friendly cities according to Food and Wine Magazine. Those listed are Boston, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco and San Diego. Reasons for their choices can be found on the site.

I wonder if the author knows that Miami and Miami Beach are two different places.

San Diego is such a great place to live when you're a pet parent! I'm going to be very sad when we have to move.

Matt, why are you saying that because nothing even mentions Miami Beach.

Jill: because lincoln road mall is on miami beach and all the miami pictures they have are from miami beach.

that being said, i am from miami and everyone refers to miami beach as "miami". matt was just being overly technical.

What a flawed list. Boston and Miami are not exactly friendly places for pitbulls - Boston has breed restrictions, and Miami has a ban.

There is no doubt San Francisco should be the #1 dog friendly city. http://www.fidofactor.com lists over 700 locations in SF. We've also got a lot of Boston locations and more coverage coming soon. Add your favorite places to the site.
