Forkless Cruiser Bicycle

This working bicycle is also a work of art! The Forkless Cruiser is a graduation project by Olli Erkkila, a student at the Lahti Institute of Design in Finland.

    Very slinky, but I wouldn’t fancy it over Britain’s potholes. Unless that front limb is really well attached it’s going to snap off where it joins the rest of the frame.

    looks very clean…would look even better if the stearing somehow was fitten in the frame. cables maybe.

    It’s nice as a design project, but it doesn’t look robust enough to handle much commuting over bumpy city streets. I don’t see much to be gained by not supporting the wheel axles from both sides.
