Caffeine vs. Calories

By Miss Cellania in Food & Drink on Aug 12, 2009 at 10:31 am

This infographic shows you which products (mostly coffee drinks) have the least and most caffeine and calories by plotting them on a graph, with some familiar foods on the left for reference. This is why I drink black coffee (lower right) and don’t eat Big Macs (upper left). Link to full-size version. -via Digg

they left off mountain dew… I’ve always heard it has more caffeine than coffee (always said with lots of exclamation points)- and it certainly is loaded with calories (the non-diet dew)- I’d be interested to know just where it fits on a graph like this. It obviously has a lot to do with what kind of coffee you’re drinking…

That iced coffee at the bottom left – sure looks like it’s got whipped cream on top.

12 ounces of Mountain Dew has 220 calories and 55 milligrams of caffeine. Google finds all.

I can go through a whole half gallon of coffee flavored icecream in one go. It’s my achelese heal. The guys at work look at me strangely as I scoop away.
