Calendar for Pyromaniacs

By Alex in Art on Jul 18, 2009 at 9:59 pm

Ukrainian artist Yurko Gutsulyak has created what is probably the perfect calendar for pyromaniacs: the "days" made of individual matches that you can tear off and set alight.

I think this would be the worst possible calendar for a pyromaniac, as the temptation to light the entire calendar on fire (all at once) would be nigh-on-irresistable! It would take a pyro with iron self-control to avoid that.

ummm… This has been out for a few months now. I think it was even featured on Neatorama.

I would tear off one day then set the entire thing ablaze

@Him – really? I can’t find it anywhere on the blog, but I may be wrong …

Ditto to the others, I’d light the entire thing up at once.

The logic of that would be like giving an alcoholic the keys to the fully-stocked liquor cabinet and saying, “Now just one drink a day…”

I think this would be great for a smoker who wanted to maintain a one a day habit. Just light your cigarette with the match for that day and you’ll never go wrong.

How romantic, spending your days with the perfect match.
