Think that the person yakking on his cell phone while driving in the car next to you is bad? He’s nothing compared to this dancing Romanian driver! How on Earth did he get his license?!

    If you dont know..
Driving Heavy trucks is getting to the point the trucks can drive themselves..
    In the USA..
    Many trucks have cruise control.
If the roads were STRAIGHT as nails, a good truck could drive it with no body except to STOP it..

Yes. I've always said how dangerous drivers are when they take their eyes off the road to light a cigarette and smoke

Maybe, *maybe* he didn't dance during the exam.

Unless they've developed a New cruise control that I've never heard about. The Cruise control only keeps the speed of the vehicle constant. It DOES NOT steer it or notice if there is slow traffic ahead of you. You wouldn't be the person everyone jokes about that bought a motor-home and turned his cruise control on so he could go into the back & use the toilet without having to stop. LOL

Other than him taking his hands off the wheel way to much he seems to be paying closer attention to the road than most drivers I see these days.

Are we sure that's Romanian? The music sounds like the typical Latin music (lots of horns and possibly an accordian), plus, the truck that passes him says "Aqui." I'm willing to bet that he isn't Romanian, but rather Mexican (or from some other central/southern American country) and it was filmed in the US. Though, he could be Romanian and just a fan of the latin music, who knows.

    That's not latin music.

Yes he is romanian and the music too.
This video was so many times on romanian television.
The thing is, truck drivers get bored driving for days.

He looks like a better driver than the people who are scared witless, clutching the steering wheel, and are so disembodied that their reflexes wouldn't work if their or your life depended on it.

Give the dude kudos -- he kept his truck where it was supposed to be, and that is what REALLY counts.

This video might lose the guy his job.

Haha it might also give him a raise. That was actually quite impressive driving/multitasking.

i like the music as well. and as others had mentioned, he did keep the truck on the road. plus, i see LOTS of drivers dance, smoke, on the phone, read, and all other crazy things here in the states. That had nothing on drivers here.

As a driver - I was shocked. But I did notice that his eyes were on the road, and on his mirrors. Not all the time, but they were there.

@Scotchdrnkr - ECA saw that one episode of the Simpsons "Maximum Homerdrive". Where there is a Navitron Autodrive system, and the truck drives itself.

@kornspring - Aqui Fruit and Greens is a European company.

I've actually met plenty of guys whom I could imagine doing the exact same thing. If you've got the rhythm you've just got to dance, no matter where you are.

kornspring: Romanians are a latin nation, and their language is the closest to Latin of all Latin languages (at least that's what my Latin teacher told me).
